Ogre Pankration: A fight scene

This is a fight scene which was done years ago and edited in AfterEffects.  It consists of 2 ogres, or orcs depending on how you see them, fighting in what looks like mixed martial arts.

A Character: Daisuke Azura

This is one of the characters that I came up with. I actually came up with the name of the character prior to my coming to Westwood. The character, himself came later, my eighth term. I gave him a face and a signature hairstyle.

Occupation: Swordsman/Martial Arts instructor & Gladiator
- Style: Kyokushin & Shotokan Karate and various weapon styles. He favors swords.

Sketchbook

It's a good idea that a sketchbook be required in about every class, as one can never really be too good at drawing, and to continue to draw will make one better at it. These are some works that I'm proud to have sketched.

Some of my works may show that I need to study anatomy a little more.

My Intro

Hello, everyone. My name is Keenan Y. David, an artist of many talents. I'm also known as "Gauntlets." I chose the name should I become a boxer, which I have, and it kind of stuck. The purpose of this blog is to show some of my works of art. Other things will be posted on my two YouTube channels, and my Myspace.

Let me tell you about myself.
Aside from studying the graphic arts and video game design, I'm a martial artist. My chosen style is shotokan karate (2001 - 2005). I'm currently a brown belt. Though I haven't had a class in a while, I still try to keep it sharp. From 2005 to present, I've been training in boxing. My goal is to fight in MMA in the future.
My favorite MMA fighter is Ryoto "Lyoto" Machida. His base is shotokan and he has made it work for him and has yet to be defeated. That's my main reason.
My least favorite MMA figher is Fedor Emelianenko. It's not so much I don't like Fedor, it's that I don't like most of the fans of Fedor. Most of the fans do not want to acknowledge factual evidence, sometimes in front of their face, that Fedor isn't undefeatable. That's how people should know he's MMA's false god.
January 2007 to December 2009: Enrolled in college studying Game Art & Design. Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Game Art & Design.

At first I was hiding my identity due to the fact that people in this world are vengeful, immature, and sometimes violent. I'm not going to reveal some of the things I've said because some people could read it and react to it, dependng on what kind of person they are.
